Manager and owner Pra Ming Project. The Pra Ming project occupies a 10 acre site in the North of Thailand. It is an attempt to use modern communications technology to establish a remote learning centre in a self-sustaining environment. The project is on-going.

1981 - Sept. 1989:

Managing Director of Industrial Folio Company Ltd. a small research company registered in Thailand. The work of this company was mostly conducted in association with a number of other research companies based in Thailand.

Work with CSN & Associates (181/19 A.I. Tower Dejo Road, Bangkok 10500). In November 1983 set up a credit reporting and newsclipping service as a joint venture. The credit reports in this operation amounted to mini studies on the subject companies. Over one hundred of these reports were completed.

Industrial Market Research with CSN & Associates comprised Project direction of a investment opportunity study for Hoechst Thai Ltd., a study on the market for decorative products in Thailand's ceramic and glassware industries for Peat Marwick (Singapore) and a study of the market in Thailand for scaffolding equipment for Hory Equipment of Japan.

Work with Industrial Market Research Services (IMRS): Project Director of a study on the market for agricultural machinery in Thailand for a European Embassy. Project Director of a project to study the market potential for plastic pallets in Thailand for Thai/European manufacturing company. Sub-contracted to undertake a survey of the market for educational equipment and supplies for the Government of Canada.

1977 - 1981:

Freelance business journalist based in Thailand. Contributed to the following publications:

Also undertook special projects such as writing annual reports and corporate brochures.
